I’m not sure why, but the best graphic designers I’ve worked with are horrible spellers. They don’t see words as anything other than shapes and images to arrange into a compelling design. That’s fine because of this cool invention called “Spell Check”.
A few weeks ago I spotted this van in Herndon, Va. which was advertising a signage company. Um, if you’re selling signage, I’m pretty sure spelling counts.
Furthermore, wouldn’t a logo of some sort be a better image to put on the side of your company’s van?
Just a thought.
